How much Poka reads

B3 Core. Only the main content type or types are decoded (for example geometry but not materials, layers or annotations, or only one version family). The list of gaps is substantial.

Confidence: medium (the reviewer read the code). Basis: Reviewed 2026-10-16: read parsers/poka-tsm/src/lib.rs (module docs, MFC class and element readers, build_ast), the unit tests, tests/samples.rs and the synthetic fixtures. Covers the one layout seen in 25 Polish-localised files; no real TSM file is now in the repository (removed as private client data), so the tests run on synthetic fixtures written from the same layout. What Poka does not read

• Numeric model fields are shown as numbers but not labelled (the module says about 5 percent of bytes, judgement unverified now that the real files are gone)

• Curves are summarised as min, max and point count, not plotted
• Only the first 40 sections and 40 rows per section are shown
• Room geometry and loads as inputs (the file is mainly a simulation report)
• Other localisations or TeknoSim versions (no version field is read; only one Polish layout is known)
• Only the F2, EE and F3 record tags are accepted

Background

TeknoSim is TeknoTerm's room climate simulation program; the corpus files are a Polish localisation and say so in their embedded help text. There is no public specification. Everything Poka reads was established from 25 corpus files that are no longer in the repository (the tests fall back to synthetic fixtures): the F2 FF magic, records introduced by a tag and FF, and two string encodings (short Pascal strings and a longer form for the help text). Poka shows what it can prove on a metadata card (according to the module documentation, report tables, curves and bars, envelope elements and settings) and says plainly what it has not decoded.
