B2 Broad. The common content of the current and the common older versions is decoded. Some named features or versions are not, and are listed.

Confidence: medium (the reviewer read the code). Basis: Reviewed 2026-10-16: the poka-glb header check and unit tests, the seven corpus files (none uses an extension or compression) and the vendored Three.js GLTFLoader. The module only checks the header; the loader draws the model. The tier covers GLB version 2.

Background

The Library of Congress describes a 12-byte header followed by a JSON chunk and an optional binary chunk, with the magic number "glTF". Poka reads the header and the first chunk header to reject truncated or mislabelled files, and the frontend viewer draws the model. A file whose length disagrees with its header is decoded as far as its bytes go; the scene says so in a fact and as a declared-size integrity check, a warning when the file is shorter than declared and information when it is longer.
