Preview files in your browser, no install needed

Poka recognises more than 1,000 file formats and opens them right in your browser — drop a file or paste a link to see the preview. The format pages in the Parsers docs say what Poka reads and what it does not.

How to preview a file

Open Poka

Go to the Poka homepage. There's nothing to download or install — it runs in your browser.

Drop your file

Drag any file onto the page, or click Open file to browse your computer. Poka recognises the common formats: images, PDFs, CAD drawings, 3D models, documents, spreadsheets, audio, video and more.

See it in your browser

Your file opens in a viewer tuned to its format — interactive 3D, zoomable CAD, or plain preview.

Preview a file from the web

You can also preview a file hosted online:

  1. Copy a public link to a file (PDF, image, model, etc.)
  2. Paste it into the URL box on the homepage and press Enter
  3. Your browser fetches it and shows the preview
🔒 Fetched by your browser: when you preview a file by URL, your browser fetches it directly from the file's host, and Poka's server does not fetch it. A link opened as ?url= in the page address is sent to Poka's server as part of that page request.

Note: URL previews work best with public files. If a site blocks cross-origin fetching, just download the file and drop it here instead.
