B2 Broad. The common content of the current and the common older versions is decoded. Some named features or versions are not, and are listed.

Confidence: medium (the reviewer read the code). Basis: Reviewed 2026-10-26: read parsers/poka-dtb/src/main.rs (593 lines) and plugin.json. No unit tests or tests/samples.rs; the corpus has qemu.dtb, read by no test. Covers .dtb and .fdt. The tree reads the FDT header and walks the structure block into the node hierarchy, with every property decoded: strings and string lists, cell counts and phandles as numbers, reg, ranges and interrupts as hex cells, and other values as strings or hex. Judgement: B2: the whole tree is decoded; the gaps are interpretation and limits.

What Poka does not read

  • Phandle references are not resolved to node paths
  • The memory-reservation block is counted, not listed
  • Overlay fixups (fixups, symbols) are shown as plain nodes
  • Caps of 3,000 nodes and 64 levels; files over 16 MiB are cut (flagged)
