How much Poka reads

B1 Complete. Everything the format defines that a reader would see is decoded, in every version Poka claims. Anything not decoded is immaterial and listed.

Confidence: medium (the reviewer read the code). Basis: Reviewed 2026-10-16: parsers/poka-dwl/src/lib.rs and its unit tests, plus tests/samples.rs with tests/fixtures/mod.rs. The 25 real files were removed from the corpus (they named real people), so only synthetic fixtures of both layouts, both encodings and CRLF/LF exercise the code; poka-samples has no .dwl. Covers the legacy AutoCAD layout (flag, user, localised date) and the modern ZWCAD/BricsCAD layout (user, machine, ISO time). The file is three lines, so everything in it is surfaced.

What Poka does not read

• the legacy flag byte is shown but its meaning is not decoded
• the legacy localised date is shown as text, not converted to a timestamp
• layouts other than the two seen in the old corpus are not covered; no format specification was found

Background

The file is three lines, but in two layouts. AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT write a legacy form with a flag byte, the user and a date in the machine's locale and code page (Polish month names and Windows-1250 in the corpus). The ZWCAD and BricsCAD lineage writes the user, the machine and an ISO timestamp. Poka tells them apart by the timestamp, so the flag byte does not end up in the user field, decodes the legacy text in its code page and shows who has the drawing open on a metadata card.
